The Albanian Riviera is a stretch of coastline that seriously over-delivers on views — think mountain-meets-sea panoramas, hidden coves, and unforgettable sunsets. Whether you’re a photographer, a romantic, or just someone who loves a good view with your morning coffee, these spots won’t disappoint.

🏔️ Llogara

Best for: Epic mountain-meets-sea views
Even though the new tunnel makes the drive quicker, we still recommend heading up to the Llogara Pass at least once. It’s only about 20 minutes from Palase and 30 minutes from Dhermi, and offers a completely different vibe: cool mountain air, pine forests, and a jaw-dropping view of the Ionian coast below. Great spot for lunch or a short hike.

🌊 Gjipe Canyon

Best for: Adventurers and nature lovers
The dramatic canyon opens up to a hidden beach, and the walk down (about 20 minutes) offers beautiful photo opportunities. Go early or late for softer light and fewer crowds — especially in high season. There’s also a small beach restaurant once you arrive.

🛥️ From the Sea (Boat Tour)

Best for: Seeing the coast from a different perspective
Hop on a small boat from Dhermi or Himare and explore caves, coves, and wild beaches that you can only reach by water. Tours typically include spots like the Pirate’s Cave, the Mermaid’s Cave, and the Blue Cave. We’re happy to recommend trusted local guides and help our guests book a tour.

🌄 Saint Theodore’s Monastery (Dhërmi)

Best for: Peaceful vibes and sea views
Tucked above Dhermi, this old stone monastery offers incredible views over the beach and surrounding hills. It’s not a difficult hike, and it’s a peaceful break from the busy coastline.

🧿 Porto Palermo Castle

Best for: History lovers and scenic photographers
This small fortress sits right on the water and offers cool views from the top. Great stop on a coastal road trip, especially in the late afternoon when the light is golden.

🏡 Palasa View Apartments

Best for: Waking up to a view you’ll never forget
The view from Palasa View is one of those “how is this real?” moments — where the mountains drop right into the turquoise sea, and the horizon stretches endlessly. Whether you’re having a bite on your balcony or watching the sunset with a glass of wine, this view is pure magic. No hike or drive needed — just open your windows.

🏖️ Final Note

From wild beaches to mountain lookouts, the Albanian Riviera is full of views that stop you in your tracks. And if you’re looking for the perfect base to soak it all in, Palasa View might be just the spot. 🏖️ Final Note
